Thank you to all the meeting organizers, presenters, moderators, and participants who attended the 2025 I-SCORE Meeting on March 27th! With 82 in person attendants and 48 virtual attendants, This meeting provides a great opportunity for information-sharing and collaboration between DCP staff, program staff, and Consortia/CP-CTNet members. Highlights from the program include:
- Dr. Leslie Ford, Associate Director for Clinical Research at NCI, kicked off the meeting and welcomed participants and presenters to I-SCORE 2025.
- Dr. Philip Castle, Director of the Division of Cancer Prevention, presented his vision for cancer prevention.
- Dr. Eva Szabo, Chief of the Lung and Upper Aerodigestive Cancer Research Group, provided an overview of the CP-CTNet Program. For CP-CTNet, Dr. Szabo reviewed active studies, infrastructure, and logistics.
- Dr. Meredith Shiels, Senior Investigator in the Division of Cancer Epidemiology and Genetics at the National Cancer Institute, presented Trends in Cancer Incidence and Mortality Rates in Early Onset and Later Onset Cancer in the U.S.
